Made from a unique blend of coconut oil (or palm oil), glucose from corns, and wheat flour, our silk wash effectively removes dirt and impurities from your silk fabrics while maintaining their delicate nature. Our formula is free from harsh chemicals like SLS, sulfate, SLES, and additional colorants, prioritizing your well-being and the preservation of your silk garments. It is plant-based and features a neutral pH to ensure a deep, thorough clean without compromising fabric integrity.

Ingredients

  • DECYL GLUCOSIDE 10.00% w/w
  • COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE 7.00% w/w
  • COCAMIDE DIETHANOLAMINE 1.00 w/w

How to use

  1. Fill a basin or sink with cool to lukewarm water. Avoid using hot water as it may damage or shrink your silk garments.
  2. Add a small amount of Bui's Silk Wash to the water. The exact amount will depend on the size of your basin and the number of items you are washing. Start with approximately 1-2 teaspoons for every gallon of water.
  3. Swirl the water gently to create a mild, soapy solution. Ensure that the Silk Wash is thoroughly dissolved and evenly distributed in the water.
  4. Immerse your silk garments into the soapy water, one item at a time. Gently agitate the water with your hands to ensure the detergent reaches and cleans every part of the fabric.
  5. Allow the garments to soak in the soapy solution for a few minutes, giving the Silk Wash time to work its magic and remove any dirt or impurities from the silk fibers.
  6. Gently massage the fabric with your hands or use a soft, non-abrasive cloth to spot clean any stains or soiled areas. Be careful not to rub or wring the fabric vigorously, as this can damage the delicate fibers.
  7. Once you have finished cleaning, drain the soapy water from the basin or sink.
  8. Rinse your silk garments thoroughly under cool, running water until all traces of the Silk Wash and any remaining dirt or suds are completely removed. Take your time to ensure all the detergent is rinsed out properly.
  9. Gently squeeze out excess water from the garments, taking care not to wring or twist them. Avoid using harsh wringing or twisting motions as this can distort the shape of the silk fabric and cause wrinkles.
  10. Lay a clean, absorbent towel flat on a clean surface or hang your silk garments to air dry. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources that can cause damage or fading.
  11. Allow your silk garments to dry completely before wearing or storing them. Silk may take longer to dry compared to other fabrics, so be patient.

  • Domestic Shipping (within Thailand) by Kerry Express : 1-3 days : Free shipping for orders over 3,000 THB, otherwise we offer 100 THB flat-rate shipping fee.
  • International Shipping (Worldwide) by DHL : 4-21 days : Fee will be auto-calculated at check out.

Exchanges & Returns

  • We accept exchanges up to 7 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition. We accept returns only when the item has defect at it’s origin and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
  • In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@buimoments.com or Line Official @bui.moments with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
